Terri Nesbit, ARNP, CNM

Terri Nesbit is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and an Advanced Registered  Nurse  Practitioner (ARNP)who has practiced in the community for more than 25 years.

Terri earned her Certificate of Nurse Midwifery and Masters in Nursing from the University of Florida. Originally, graduating from Ohio Valley Medical Center with her Diploma in Nursing and from West Liberty State College with her Bachelor’s degree in Wheeling, W.Va.

Terri’s past experiences as a registered nurse include working in labor and delivery, post-partum, newborn units where she was nurse manager for 9 years. During her time as nurse manager, Terri developed the first Professional Practice Unit in the State of Florida and had articles written about her unit. She traveled the country as a consultant to help other nurses develop their units to Professional Practice.  She has taught childbirth education classes and provided women’s health care lectures thorough out the community.

With more than 25 years of experience, Terri specializes in women’s health care and has worked in a variety of hospitals and office practice settings. She is an advocate for women to provide them with involvement and choices regarding their health care. Terri has provided quality healthcare for all women across their lifespan, focusing on education, individualized care and empowerment, with a holistic approach. Her compassion for women is evident in her enthusiasm and devotion to her patients and their healthcare.
