Clinical Trials in Gynecologic Oncology


Our office offers clinical trials in the field of gynecologic oncology. Both Dr. Indermaur and Dr. LaPolla offer studies to patients who qualify for a trial. All of our studies are National studies recognized by National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes for Health (NIH). Most of the studies we offer are large multi-institute studies organized by the Gynecological Oncology Group (GOG).

Ovarian Cancer Studies


GOG 212 - Phase III Trial - Paclitaxel or Polyglutamate Paclitaxel or Observation in Treating Patients With Stage III or Stage IV Ovarian Epithelial or Peritoneal Cancer or Fallopian Tube Cancer

GOG 213 - Phase III trial - Carboplatin and Paclitaxel With or Without Bevacizumab After Surgery in Treating Patients With Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer, Primary Peritoneal Cavity Cancer, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

GOG 262 - Phase III trial - Paclitaxel and Carboplatin With or Without Bevacizumab in Treating Patients With Stage III or Stage IV suboptimally debulked Ovarian Epithelial Cancer, Primary Peritoneal Cancer, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

Endometrial Cancer


GOG 258 – Phase III trial - Carboplatin and Paclitaxel With or Without Cisplatin and Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Stage I, Stage II, Stage III, or Stage IVA Endometrial Cancer

GOG 249 - Phase III trial - Pelvic Radiation Therapy or Vaginal Implant Radiation Therapy, Paclitaxel, and Carboplatin in Treating Patients With High-Risk Stage I or Stage II Endometrial Cancer
