Dr. Kathleen Brown is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society and the Florida Medical Association.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Brown earned a baccalaureate degree in biology from the University of Richmond, Virginia in 1986. She did a pharmacology internship with A.H. Robbins Pharmaceutical Company, and then worked for Burroughs Wellcome Company until 1989. She earned her doctor of medicine in 1993 at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. While in medical school, Dr. Brown was elected to the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She did her internship in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, followed by residency in obstetrics and gynecology, also at the University of Maryland. She joined Drs. Yelverton, Lerner, Fallieras, Kilbride, Marston, Jaeger, and Minton in August 1998.
